I just picked up a used set of fenderwells for my ‘71, and the right one is slightly different, please look at my pic , the new one on the right has some molding differences, so I’m wondering if these were different year to year? Vader might know

Thats a lot different. I dont know what is right or wrong but looking forward to someone's expertise. Did you look for a date code on either? I'm pretty sure they have .

 

I have a Lansing-built '72 convertible and the RH fender liner looks like the one on the right in your picture. I bought another pair of used ones because my originals had some areas that were dry-rotted from the Texas sun. They also looked like the one on the right in your pic.

I believe the one on the left in your pic is for '68-'69. The '70-72 style has the "notched" front edge while the '68-69 is a straight line across.
