Hello all. I recently started a thread about a warranty replacement for my car cover from Covercraft, and I received my new cover, but they didn't line the inner seams with a felt strip (this prevents the seams from making contact with the car). They will fix the issue by either sending another cover with the felt lined seams, or add the felt to the one they already sent. Either way, I have to send the new one back.
Is it really worth the extra effort to send it back and wait for them to resolve the issue, or will I be ok with the seams as they are?
I won the cover as a prize for finishing first in a virtual car show they did in 2023, so I'm not out of pocket for anything. Also, my current cover is torn (which I've patched with duct tape, and is also why I'm getting a warranty replacement). So, while it's not an immediate problem, I do need a new one ASAP.
I've included pics to show the difference between the seams with felt lining and without.
