Cool. My 71 442's birth colors was bittersweet/white stripes and vinyl top. Although mine has the black/white interior.

Old friend of mine. Back when we were teenagers. His Mom had a 71 very close to that car out here in Colorado. It was a bucket seat column shift automatic car. I have always liked that color.

Judging by the obvious rot I would be afraid to see the underside... I say trick no Treat.

It's a shame. ☹️

I sent a link of this post to my older brother that was better friends with the guy than I was. The colors are dead on to this guy's Mom's car. Interior color included.

Gotcha. Exact same colors as my buddy's Mom's car. Even the top color. Too bad about the rust. Is it bad in other areas also?

Bought this 'Bittersweet' '71 back in August of '87 for $600. In November, we stripped it down and had it redone over the winter. My dad and I grabbed fenders, doors, bumpers, and other parts from local sellers and swap meets.
An $1800 body job was good enough for an 18 year old making McDonalds wages.
The little sign in the rear window said 'Rust is my favorite color'.
Had a lot of fun in it when it was finished the following summer....

Keystones are one of my all time favorite after market wheels on some cars. Sweet 👍
I absolutely love Cutlass Supreme body's.
