Episode 3 of "The Offer" streaming on Paramount+

The Offer is a series streaming on Paramount+ regarding the making of "The Godfather". Only 3 episodes loaded at this time, but in episode #3 they are shooting a scene where they choose the large home of Don Corleone on Staten Island as a shooting location. Low and behold they have a 70-442 W30 convertible sitting beside the house for all to see. This series is popular, so tons of eyes will see that car. Seeing a gold 70-442 W30 vert with black stripes and black top was the last thing I thought they would show so prominently.

We noticed that as well. There are some Icon automobiles in that program.

Great show! FYI that house is 5 minutes from where I live.

My dad’s from West Brighton and went to Augustinian Academy which was right up the road from Longfellow.

Staten Island was quite a place in the 40s and 50s, and still is in many areas. My father attributes its demise to the Verrazano Narrows bridge.

Your dad is correct! I was born and raised in New Dorp, my office is in West Brighton.

A similar '70 W30 drop-top (gold w/ black stripes IIRC) was in the debut episode of Snowfall a few years ago.
