engine paint

hey guys kinda new here but wanted to ask. i’ve seen gold used for engine paints before and now all of a sudden i’m seeing bronze. i went to paint just my oil pan today and the color was terrible. i do not like the bronze. how would y’all hide somebody for have GOLD for the engine paint? it’s s 1968-1968 400 G code block. this is the color of my engine after it’s been batted as well so i’m curious to know why it’s the color it is and not bronze.

this looks gold. not bronze. i like this color better personally.

Bronze was for the 400 block used in the 442 only, gold was used on the small block 350 engine. Welcome to Classic Olds.
