Ebay 87 CC wagon Nice!

Boy this looks like a nice wagon but the seller's web site says they are asking 11,900.00. I think it is about 7000 too much.

Man that's a well cared for wagon. I bet the original owner loved and cared for this thing as if it was a child. You can tell not just by the condition of the interior but also the exterior as that color would just fade out, sometimes in just months I would also bet all service work was done at the dealership and the exterior was detailed with some frequency too.

I would venture to say that the surviving family member probably took this wagon to the dealer as a trade-in and got a whopping $600 credit on a new car purchase.

It breaks my heart to see a well loved car like this simply discarded by a younger family member because they don't have the same passion as the original owner.

I'd like to shake the hand of the guy that detailed it. They kinda fell apart in the engine bay tho.

But...

It has the uber-rare "five speed automatic"...

Pretty car, low miles, insane price. As an example, last year I bought a 1985 D88 sedan for my wife with about 60K miles on it for $2700. Other than the detailing, it was in the same shape as this wagon.

Wow, normally when a used car manager puts a price on something like that the customers get up and walk out saying something like "you thieving ba$t**ds". They don't usually trade for them. I'm going to say the dealer gave about $5-6k for the car.

I cant predict what they got for it. If it was a trade on new they probably got next to nothing off the sticker if a good amount was given for the wagon. I know people who had junker trades and got 5-6G's for the trade but little off the sticker and thought they got a great deal. I will be watching the auction to see where it goes. I know it wont meet the price listed at their website, not even close.
