Hello..
I know this might be an odd question.. but
My 75 came with the manual door locks, and the screw head type chrome part you pull up to unlock and push down to lock.. on the top rear of the door interior..


I'd like to get a set that is straight,
I know the button top /screw head shaped ones are a big help if you lock your keys in the car, but it also makes it easy to unlock for those that should not be unlocking it..
I'm sure I could find a set on a junkyard crawl.. but does anyone still make these?
Sadly.. I'm almost sure I have a set or had a set of nice chrome metal ones.. but Uugg, can't find them.. I'm also sure as soon as I get another pair I'll come across the ones I know I have..


I'll hunt the venders, but what is the "proper" name for these.. So the search function will be a help..

Just "Door Lock *****" and the chrome piece around it is a ferrule. I believe from the early 70s and on they are plastic *****. You can find the plastic ones with the head on them from any parts place they also make them without it.

 

Their were nice metal ones that had a top that you could not catch with a coat hanger. I would like to find a metal pair myself.

 

I looked online and saw these are available at most auto parts stores. Also saw them on Amazon for those who like buying parts from the sofa.

I found a bunch.. Some plastic, and some alum.
