I recently had my bendix treadle vac rebuilt on my 57 olds, I drive this car every week at my local donut shop on Saturday morning. Last week I was on my way home and slowly losing brake pedal. Got home and saw it leaking at the master cylinder. Karps did the work 6 months ago and they will take care of it. I hate the fact that I have to take it out and put it back in a second time. It seems like I always have to do things twice

 

That is surprising for Karps. I guess nobody is perfect. They did the one on my 54 about six years ago and I have had no problems.

 

It was working perfectly, Jeff at karps told me this happens once in a great while lucky me. It's hard when you work and have to take it out and drive back and forth to upland

 

Like my son tells me, we do it nice because we do it twice.

 

Can't tell you how many times I have installed a part only to pull it out and install it again for some crazy reason

 

I thought that was pretty much normal...

 

I saw a sign in a shop years ago that said ;
" Why is there never enough time to do something right , but always enough time to do it over . "

 

a guy that worked for my dad lived by that mantra!he had more cars he worked on 3 or 4 times to get right.
