I don't know the answer to your question, but I can say that here in Phoenix all we have for the past 15+ years is 10% ethanol gasoline and I have not seen any issues in the daily driver vehicles, the Cutlass, the lawn mower, the chain saw, etc. Many of those sit for extended periods without being started or run. The Cutlass sits all summer (who wants to drive a convertible when it's 115º+ out?) and the chain saw sometimes goes a couple years between uses. Never any issues starting or running.

I watched "one" of that guy's videos before. Not to say either anything good or bad about the person or his videos - but, his voice scares me. I'm not going to watch anymore of his videos because he scares me.

i had to park my bike for four years. I filled the tank w 2x the recommended amount of stabil and ran the bike and then drained the carb.

When i went to restart she nogo. I opened the carb up and eveyting was crystal white frost like the pic in the start of the vid.

me 2 strokes get a carb clean every year they no looka lika da white frost inside they nice and clean

conclusion time + ethanol = no good
shorter time plus mix oil + ethanol = eh ok

I gotta no idea why i typa like dis for this post ???

I haven't experienced that, but I wonder if moisture is a contributing factor. I'm in the desert SouthWest where it's really dry so maybe that's why my experience is different?
