He seems to do that a lot. Some people have had no issues, while others- well, they ended up like you for a long time. He has about the worst business acumen I've ever seen.

oddly enough i have had great dealings with jon.i'm not usually very lucky but honestly have no problem with him.i do think you need patience and a sense of humor .my .02

He can be a little tough to communicate with but we were in regular contact via text, until two weeks ago. We were on track for shipping and then ... no more responses and now his phone wont receive texts or calls. Just seemed odd. I know shipping a block is not easy so I have been (and will continue to be) patient. He has been cool with everything so far, I just figured something might have happened to him with the lack of recent contact.

Another reason not to buy from him.

 

Its going to Maryland. He has all the details, he even helped me set up the freight deal. All he needs to do is drop it off. He has had issues with phone & email in the past but has always surfaced eventually. I've just been unable to call or send texts to him these past two weeks, I just keep getting a Verizon message. Thats why I was checking to see if anyone knew him and if something had happened to him.

He texted me this morning but again, I am unable to send him a text or call him. I called Verizon and explained what is happening and they said it sounds like he blocked my number based on the automated msg I get. I would guess this was by accident considering his response this morning. I believe his intentions are good, its just a simple mix up with his phone issues and the possibility he blocked my number accidentally. If you could, please let him know I am unable to respond.

He may be a totally honest guy but I agree he is one strange dude. This day and time it is hard to believe anybody could have as much trouble with emails and text as he does. I think what he has is a failure to communicate.

Just for reference for those who think he's having contact issues,he was on FB this morning posting. Evidently those who know him like him and that's understandable. However his business practices leave a lot to be desired. I sell a lot of parts and have had for years. I do my very best to get my packages shipped pronto. I sell some items on eBay and I have shipped them the same day 90% of the time. There's only one way to do business,the right way.

As for the original issue at hand, I think we may be back on track. I got an email yesterday saying he hopes to get it out today so we'll see. I tried responding to the email but did not hear anything back. He is certainly a little tough to communicate with but again, I believe his intentions are good.
