Difference in Cutlass and Skylark cruise control?

Is there a difference between a Cutlass and Skylark cruise control? Are they interchangeable?

What year?

As a general rule Oldsmobile used the Dana/Perfect Circle governor type cruise control unit thru the late 70s, whereas Buicks used that half-assed and troublesome AC vacuum transducer unit. You may find some A-body Oldsmobiles with the transducer type but I think those were all dealer installations.

There'll also be differences in the vacuum servo attachment and throttle links.

X2....big difference and it depends on the year. For the 70 'ish Cutlass type you are not going to adapt a Skylark cruise w/o some fabrication, + dash switch + light compatibility probs.
