Daughters first ride in the 442 convertible.
I bought this car about a month ago('72 442 convertible) & have been playing around with it, checking it out & so forth & trying to decide weather to keep it or flip it. Today I decided to pick up my girlie from school in it. She has ridden in my Rallye before & doesn't care for it(too loud).
. Also took her for a ride in my Vista & she wasn't too impressed with it either
. When I opened the garage door a few weeks ago & she saw the 442 for the first time, she said "ohh, pretty". I really didn't need much of an excuse to keep it & that made the decision even easier. So I drop the top today & cruise to her school & she comes out & sees it & says "Awesome daddy, awesome!" Needless to say I was a happy boy! Then on the way home she points her finger at me & says "Don't ever sell this car!" Another reason to keep it, don't want her mad at me.

Out of the mouths of babes - My daughters first comment when I bought my 71 Cutlass S a year ago was - "It smells like old people" - I about peed myself laughing...
When I got the car there were some water leaks that had the car smelling a little musty inside - all good now!
The second funny thing she said was "Dad, how do the windows go down?" These young people - shes 14 and has never been in car with crank windows!
