Customer service
I was recently blown away by customer service at Rock Auto and I felt that I needed to share it. I ordered a complete set of three e-brake cables for an 86 Chevy truck that I'm working on. When I opened the package for one of the cables, the inner packaging had been previously torn open, and the cable inside, though new, was about too feet too short. Apparently either the part had been put in the wrong package (the P/N on the package was correct) or a previous buyer had swapped the cable. Either way, it appeared that the part had been returned, put back on the shelf, and resold to me.
I called Rock Auto on Monday morning. Tuesday afternoon the replacement part was on my doorstep, delivered overnight by FedEx at Rock Auto's expense. They have not yet even asked for the incorrect part to be returned. You don't see that kind of customer service very often anymore.

I've only purchased from them once but it worked out very well. I ordered a lot of parts and it was a pain trying to get them all from the same shipping facility but still, no complaints. They have a lot of hard to find stuff too!

I have had great experiences with RA also. The only gripe was when a discount code wouldn't take, but it was not much to even worry about.
As soon as a return hits their doorstep, your credit is made! Most other places, they will not credit you until you call to inquire why it has not been credited...
I now use RA for all my "local" parts needs.
