Solid Lifters

I haven't been here in a while, maybe a year. My 442's have taken a back seat to a couple of Corvette projects, although I'm fixing to get back on the '67. So all of a sudden, out of a clear blue I start getting notifications today of replies to threads I subscribed to back then. I haven't gotten such a notification in a very long time, and got four today so far. Coincidence or something new?

Coincidence.

Sometimes the notifications can be as much as half a day behind (which is incredibly annoying), but never two years.

I just looked. Last time I posted was August 28th of '13. I haven't gotten any subscription notifications since that time until today. Seems kinda' odd.

Could also be that there was no activity on those threads after your last posts until recently. That will flag the server to email you with an update. Why you would get 4 though I have no idea. Maybe the server just misses you.

Sounds like someone resurrected an old thread. I sometimes post to a very old thread not realizing it. But that ttt's it letting others see it and replying. A possibility?

I'd be willing to bet a or some newbies posted something on the old threads. If you click on the link from the email, you can see the last posts.
