Cowl Tag and Protect o plate
Ok so I must be bored today - been looking all over the board and the internet for what the option stamps mean and can't find anything. So I thought maybe someone on here would know:
Cowl Tag
10A
ST 66-33639 LAN 444
TR 953-A CC
2X
5Y
Protect o plate
953-CC Vin#
W017456 F

So I know this much

ST 66-33639 LAN 444 - Year 66 3 Oldsmobile 33639 F-85 Deluxe Holiday Sedan Built in Lansing #444 for the year
TR 953-A - Bench Vinyl Blue but what is A? CC - Provincial White top - bottom
2X - No Clue
5Y - No clue
Have no clue on the protect o plate other than the 953-CC and of course the VIN

Thanks for the replies gentlemen, now I know what everything means on my cowl tag and protect o plate.
Nope. That is everything that is on it. I would imagine that my axle is just the plain jane one that got placed in the sedans with the Jetaway, that is why there is probably no code for it.

Shouldn't have anything to do with it being ordinary, but sometimes there were things like that missing on the POPs. Not that unusual.
