Wow, can't believe it's been almost a month and no one addressed this.

I don't have a lot of information on 1976 production but I'll take a stab at your cowl tag.

ST 76 - 1976 model year
3 - Oldsmobile
AJ57 - Cutlass Supreme HT so this wouldn't be eligible for the 442 option. Just the AJ37 Cutlass S had it I believe.
LAN - Lansing production
BDY 399177 - body number assigned to your car from Fisher Body works - Lansing
TR 74G - Code 74 is a Mahogany color, G refers to material - likely cloth. Vinyl would be code 74O
PNT 19 19T - Ebony Black lower body, Black vinyl roof.
The following are RPO codes. You'll likely find a complete list of them on the decal that's attached to the inside of the deck lid.
02A : Month/date code the car started being assembled - Feb (02) first week (A) in 1976.

AR9 : SEAT, FRT BKT, EUROPEAN STYLE, PASS A DRIVER RECL
C09 : ROOF COVERING, VINYL PADDED, FULL,INTEGRAL PAD
74X : ??? Can't find this RPO Are you sure it's not 74A?
74A : STRIPE COLOR, ACCENT, TWO TONE, BLACK/RED (91)

Is your car similar to this one?

Interesting - the 19T must indicate T top. Still haven't figured out 74X. Maybe someone on the Gbody forum will have that info.

Ouch! I haven't had any issues. Yet anyways. Lol. Yes this one is a 455 car with T-Tops. Needs a little work but not to bad

Thanks. I was able to run VIN that's how I found out it was a 455 car. I will have to look into what the 74X is.

I did a search and it looks like 74X is the color code for "Carmine" interior. And your interior is red so it fits.

Good info! Just a curiosity thing on my part, where did you search to find that code? I couldn't find it in any of the trim codes I searched.
