Thanks. I picked up this 67 4dr for parts. It has 330 and posi rear. Don't know gear size. Guy I got it from took out the dash, the muncie 4-speed and steering column. Had some kind of speedometer lock Claimed it was original. Couldn't tell from the floorboards because there weren't any floorboards.

So a 4dr with 4speed? He should have saved it if possible.

Same. 2L is the ACC code for the shifter hole and mounting plate for the M20.

There appears to be a lot of disagreement on the field that is the "S" on this tag. For other divisions, this was sometimes a Fisher Body scheduling code, where the letter was the day of the month that production was scheduled to start. This is not the Julian calendar day but the Fisher Body work calendar day. A=first day, B=second, etc. S would have been the 19th work day, which would not be inconsistent with an 11D build date. Note that it's the scheduled day, not the actual one. Also, while this is documented for some assembly plants, I do not have confirmation that Lansing used it this way.

It has the posi rear still in it. Tried to read the letters on the axel housing but can't tell what they are. I read 3:55 gear rear usually came with the M20. The frame, floors, fenders, are beyond repair. I'm taking the trunk lid, rear, maybe the 330 and a couple odds-n-ends off before it's final resting place. I'll take the differential cover off then to find out for sure. Thanks for all the info.

I don't know where you read that, but it is incorrect. The standard equipment rear end ratio with M20 and either 4bbl version of the 330 was 3.23. With the low compression 2bbl 330 it was 3.08. 3.55 was the standard ratio in the 442 with M20, but not in lesser Cutlii that year. From the factory SPECS booklet:

Shifter hump, pedals, floor shift column, transmission were already gone. I got it for the rear clip. Trunk lid and taillight section are in remarkable shape considering how bad the rest of the car is. Also keeping the posi rear and a couple other trinkets.
