Cowl Plate Decod

I am sure this is a common question, info I am looking for may already be here somewhere, but-I just purchased a 1970 Cutlass Supreme convertible and need some help with tag code:
ST 70 34267 E 2865
TR 997 03E A31 75 BDYAPNT
I think I know 70 is 1970, E is Linden New Jersey, 75 PNT is Matador Red (though I have seen 75 decoded as other colors).
Thanks

70- 1970 model year
E - Linden plant
2865- Fisher assigned body number
34267- 3 (Olds) 42(Cutlass Supreme) 67 (convertible)
03E - build week. 5th week of March, 1970
977- Ivory bucket seats
A31- Power Windows
75 is body paint, Matador Red
Almost missed it. Appears your top color is "A", which should be white.

Thanks!

Everything is correct, except....the car has a bench seat in front (Ivory with fold-down armrest) and column shifter. I would assume buckets would have a console. Looks like buckets when viewing from behind!

The trim code decoded 977 - was not for your car. 977 is an Ivory bucket.

The trim code you provided is 997 which decodes as an Ivory notch-bench. This matches what you have in the car.

Bucket seats were standard on the Supreme, the console with the floor shift was optional. The bench seat was a no cost option.
