couple issues

replacing all three belts and both radiator hoses....

rust around where the hose connects to the engine.

inside of hose

does this mean the inside of the engine is rusty and needs to be rebuilt or can i run some type of cleaning fluid through it.

and when removing the power steering belt i found on here that i have to loosen the bolt behind the pulley. i loosened(completely removed it by mistake) it but was unable to adjust the tension. i got the belt off but not sure how im going to tighten the new one properly.

the help is always appreciated!

It wouldn't hurt to flush out your cooling system, but they always look like that.

Do you have any overheating problems?

Once you loosen all three, use a large screwdriver as a pry bar and insert it between the nose of the pump and the tab on the bracket, between the pulley and the bracket. The photo shows the proper position of the screwdriver with the pulley removed for clarity. Use the screwdriver to tension the belt while tightening the two bolts on the front, then get the nut on the back. Failure to do this properly is why there are frequent posts about belts squealing.

There is no need to remove the pulley, unless there's something else you haven't told us.

no, im asking because i completely removed the bolt behind the pulley instead of just loosening it. guess i could get a better socket and put it through the hole in the pulley...

Try to remove the rust on the hose sealing surfaces to prevent possible leaks.
Wire wheel on a drill or dremel, scraper, sandpaper, whatever will get into those tight areas. Avoid gouging the metal though.
