1968 Oldsmobile 442 Convertible, a little better condition but it is an automatic.

 

For $1000 doesn't look like a bad deal. Just going to take time and be a puzzle.

 

The stuff he has in piles on the ground is worth $1000

 

It's definitely worth $1,000.. Only if it were closer.

Tom, if you don't buy that car and give your 442 a stable mate, you just know you're going to feel guilty without us ridin ya! For that price and apparently decent conditin??? Yes. Jump all over it.

 

If it was with in 300 miles of me I would be posting the pics of it sitting on my trailer.

 

Just to give you a little kick in the ***, that's a $200 4 core top plate you can barely see above the $400 pair of fenders.

I have no idea what those wing windows are for that are on the fenders but the ones in the car are for a convertible only and worth at least $100 each if they aren't pitted

I don't see any cracks in that A/C dash pad either

Thanks. I'm glad I got to see the pics. Well worth the money, in my opinion.

 

Yes! that exterior color does look familiar! The oil fill tube is bent forward, that was only used on the 1968 AC cars so it may be the original engine

I'd hate to see a car like this parted out... but if there's unseen rust that kills it I agree with the other guys that there's lots of nice parts there!
