correct wheel color for '59 Olds

I will be having my wheels sandblasted and powder coated this week before mounting Coker bias ply tires on them. I am trying to keep everything stock on this car. Does anyone know if the rims should be painted gloss black or semi-gloss? The rest of the car is black. My setup has the trim rings and dog dish hubcaps, so more than just the edge of the rim is visible.

Body color black = wheel color black standard
Your choices in shades of black are endless

I am pretty sure they matched the color of the body (no pun intended).

They were the same color as the body of the car.

Wow! That's a truly sweet pro-car!
I don't believe I've ever seen a '59 hearse before, but it looks great.

Question

That is one slick car!!!
Not sure if mine are right but my 59's rims are grey and the car was fitted from new with the deluxe full wheel covers
Looks like yours is based on an 88 with the dog dish wheel covers.
