correct literature...

dear forum,

in about 2-3 weeks, my 1966 442 will get a complete new paint-job (again in royal blue), which is estimated at some 300+ hours. the experiences with 442´s in my country are limited, even at professional restauration companies.

so they asked me to provide as many documentation about the body as possible.

can you please recommend the best type of literature or technical manuals or explosion drawings for that 1966 442, maybe even some offers/products on cd-rom ?

thank you and happy new century !

Do you have at least these two publications?

1966 Oldsmobile Chassis Service Manual

and the 1966 Body Service Manual

You probably don't need the chassis service manual for the purposes of painting, but it's good to have on hand generally.

There's also this which I would think would be of great help to anyone disassembling the car to paint it:

1966 Oldsmobile Cutlass Assembly Manual

Just do a search on ebay on the terms "1966 Oldsmobile Manual" and you'll find all kinds of things, including the three above.

I think you'll be very glad you did. They'll be invaluable all through your ownership of the car.
