I have two core supports, the nicer looking one came off my 1970 cutlass S the other i just nabbed in an estate sale. I noticed some differences. See pics. Can anyone tell me if the core support is for a 1970? If not what year? or if it's even for an Oldsmobile.
So was the estate one the one with some rust on it? That may be a 1969 Cutlass. Note the small square hole for the hood latch. In 1969 there was a large pin bolted to the hood that went down into the core support. In 1970 the latch stuck up through the core support. Sorry, won't interchange with a 1970.
