Coolest thing on ebay in a long time...

Someone out there has to buy this - don't let it go to the scrapyard - if I didn't have 4 sitting in my yard (in similar condition) I'd be sweet-talking the wife into 2 tix to Kansas right now...

yeah...looks rough but solid - would be interested if anyone out there has seen it in person - hard to evaluate floors, rockers, etc...from photos. Just one of those things that you don't see - especially with no wagons in those years...passed on a '55 Police Car a few years back and have always regretted it - something about the 'out of the ordinary' stuff that always piques my interest.

Too rough and too different. Like CW said, a white elephant.

TOO MUCH WORK for me! I served my apprenticeship in Oldsmobile restoration--- not that I regret it, but for now, I gotta buy 'em done or darn near it. That would make a neat car for someone, just not me.

that there is cool. Id leave exterior the way it is, update drive train, suspension, frame, floors and a little interior work.- that would be it. I love those things

Thumbs up

Definitely some cool "yard art!" I'll watch the auction for you and IF Valley KS isn't too far away and the weather cooperates I'll go check it out for you -- floorboards; major frame rust/holes issues etc. (For the price he's wanting I'd expect all that to be solid still but we NEVER know till we LOOK do we?! ) I'll try to keep you posted; no promises but I'd be willing to look 'er over as I said provided it's not too awful far from me...Good find. Don't see those very often; it's one of those "Salvage yard Calendar Cars" for sure!
