Coolant Radiator on 68 rocket 350

Question on a 68 Cutlass 350, I have a really nice two core radiator that is the same size as the three core that came out of the car. Will I have cooling issues if I install the two core in that car. My three core is leaking?

It's the same dimensional size but not the same physical (capacity) size. You can try it and it may work depending on where in the world you live and the outside ambient temps.

A 3 row is much better if you have working AC, 2 row will work fine with or without AC in addition to what (oldcutlass) Eric mentioned . Now if your engine has been built for performance, others will have to chime in on additional rows that may be needed to cool the engine.
Hope this helps
Eric

I'm not sure how hot it gets in Florida.
Perhaps someone on the site in Florida or similar temp' climate could chime in and give you better piece of mind if you go with your 2 row.
I think it gets hot in Texas at times as well so Oldcutlass may be able to give you alot more input on this than I could.

Around here, lately, I think "no radiator" would suffice
emphasis on ICE

crikey it is so cold

Put it in, easy to try
you will know right away if it is enough- at least for a while.
PS the radiator is no place to save money when getting the 3-core replaced. See if a shop can fix the original first. If not, try to find one with lots of fins [heavy].

Like I said above, I would put it in and try it. It gets plenty hot here and I run a 2 row, however it's aluminum with plastic tanks. I just can't idle for really extended periods, holds 190 at cruise all day long.
