Close to Buying a 84 Delta88 Broughm

Hello all. New here but not to olds cars. Been a few years(11) since I've owned one. But I'm dam close to buying a 84 Delta88 Broughm with 77,000 original miles. Super clean. It's under $1700... Thoughts? Comments? Thanks

Welcome to the site. Sounds like a good deal to me if its really nice. The one thing I will recommend is if the timing set has never been changed, do so at your earliest convenience.

yea I'm not sure if it's been done but I believe I could tackle that. At some point I'd probably check/ replace the rear main seal and the freeze plugs too. I do know it runs great, doesn't like, tick or have any rust. Interior is like new and as noted 77,000 miles

working on him. Sounds like he's going to sell but has an emotional attachment to the car. Patience is key here. Only thing I'm aware of is battery needs replacing due to fact he rarely drives it. He owns 3 other vehicles. I'm hoping within a week or two to own it. I'd love to post pictures but it's his still and that's not cool

OK here's he situation... 84 Delta 88. 77,000 original miles. Clean in and out. Needs battery ($150), ignition works but housing cracked due to theft attempt. Comes with stock wheels and tire's plus 22s on it. $1400??? Should I do it?

When you say housing, are you referring to the steering column???
Personally I would negotiate a sale price without the 22's, unless you intend to use them...
