Hi Guys,

So I have taken my intake off and am going to clean it and paint it. The ports both on the intake and on the motor(?) have carbon build up. What can I safely use to clean them up a little?

The block is still in the car so I am now thinking of carb cleaner and a toothbrush. Will the carb cleaner be safe to clean the ports in the block?

do it dry - wire bottle brush and shop vac you don't want anything falling or dripping down in there
