Howdy fellas,

As a member of a few forums and been a member of for close to 10 years, it is my opinion that nothing sparks a jump, a HUGE jump, in activity on any given forum that Chat. Real time, real people with real time experiance, referrances and banter really enhance the greatness of a forum board. We have a Chat Room here and we can add a new demention to ClassicOldsmobile. How about it fellas?
Let' try this, chime in the best time you would hypothetically be able to Olds Chat and I will make some suggestions in replies, post up a thread of when, where and how to find the Chat and we can introduce each other and see how it rolls?

Please feel free to post comments or suggestions and let's experiment shall we. Ya nevuh know, it be awesome

The chat on 442.com was always busy. Maybe it was the novelty of it. Many a novice would be there asking for an instant answer to questions or problems about their Olds and the opportunity for follow-up questions. The forum does this but it is not so instant.

Oh yeah maniac, there is always a "noob" factor with any chat box. Some get it and some don't, period, but it is a great place for those that "do" to banter about.
