Classic Oldsmobile - A Gift To Our Hobby

Just wanted to give thanks to all here - especially the people who founded this and the tireless moderators that have made CO the great resource it is to those restoring our cars. I’m doing a concours resto on my Father’s 77 Trans Am he bought new and trust me there is no “Classic Pontiac” equivalent of Classic Olds to ask questions, get quality info, and be encouraged to continue such as you receive while on here.

Amen, I've learned way more from the folks on this site than I can ever dream of offering in exchange. THANKS CO!

It's really the members that make CO a great site.

I have been on this site since 2006. I have had probably three or four cars in that time. There have been a few times I have become exasperated. I have only blocked two people since I have been on here. As I tell new members, this is the place with lots of members on here with lots of knowledge they are glad to share. As mentioned, it is all about the members.

Great site. I don't post a lot anymore but I generally visit daily. I agree with all of the above and usually if you need parts this is a go-to site as well.
Carry on Oldsmobile brothers.

This is a great site. It's unfortunate that a couple folks use this platform to berate others.. there has to be a better use of their time..

Ditto, but I have met and know quite a few people, just from here. I also that I knew Oldsmobile growing up here in the Lansing. I have been humbled and learned so much. Great community here across the board.

Completely agree...this is the best Oldsmobile web site by far and an outstanding resource for information, parts and guidance. I couldn't have done what has happened to my two Oldsmobiles without this site.

Who are the two?... I learn something almost daily on here. I miss the 73-77 site and what ROP used to be but CO has filled the void quite well.

The depth of information & experience here is incomparable. Many thanks to the Mods, Joe P and Vintage Chief and so many others who have helped us all.

I’ve tried to do my bit to contribute on what little I know.

Lately I’m seeing non-Olds GM owners dropping in to learn about systems we have in common - windows, cruise controls, and so on….

Priceless is the word.

Cheers

This site has always helped me to do a repair when needed. But more importantly, this site has always assisted me in identifying a job which after reading what it takes to get it done, that I will not do it. Thanks to CO I can: Know. My. Limits.

It's that simple.
