Classic auto insurance recommendation
Classic auto insurance recommendation
Finally getting my 54 on the road just in time for summer, and realized my normal insurance place wouldn't do adequate coverage on this car. What is the "go-to" place to insure restorations?
I use JC Taylor with 40K on mine. I can drive just about whenever or where ever
I want for around $400 a year, as long as it's not a d/d and is garaged when parked.
If you do a search, there has been discussions here about the pro and cons
with the different classic auto insurers. That should make it about as clear as mud for ya. Good luck with the decision, I'm sure the demographics of where you live would be a factor as well.

I've been looking to change from Hagerty. I don't like the fact that I can't just take my car on a trip. I have to be heading to a car show. I think I'm going with Grundy. At least with them you can select the type of driving you do, including "pleasure trips". I'll make the switch as soon as my current policy is up.
X4 for JC Taylor. While driving to a car show a truck going the other way threw a rock or something and got my windshield in 2 spots. Called JC Taylor and had a check in 2 days no questions asked.
