Clarification on 4-Core Harrison Radiator
Did the CH tanks on the Harrison radiators make it into early 1970 production for the 442? I have a CH and an IF tanked 4-core for my auto with air 442 vert that was supposedly OEM to this car, which was built in early production for 70. Many though quote that the correct tank is a CI coded tank. Kindly advise on any wisdom. Thanks so much.

The CH and IF tanks are for an "ED" coded 1970 radiator. The ED radiator was used in the 1970 442 series if it was equipped the Y72 option. This is the heavy duty cooling and generator package. If you look between the C & H on the passenger tank there should be a smaller letter embossed into tank. This is the date code (month) for the radiator. A= Jan, B= Feb.... The letter I was skipped. This may help prove if radiator is correct for your car. Also if my memory is correct the alternator should have a 2 groove pulley with Y72.
CI and IF tanks are for an "EC" coded 1970 radiator.
Hope this helps
