center duct 1970 442

i believe the center duct on a 70 442 is for a/c. now on a car without a/c {such as mine} how did the factory complete this? does anything hook up to this vent or is it left open? thanks for any info!!!!!

Hi Charlie,

Been a while and I hope things are going well.

On cars w/o AC, the center outlet had a blank plate that was installed. There was no vent in that opening. The plate was black and silver I believe. This is what was done on a '69 Cutlass body car and I believe they did the same for '70.
