Catching the Fever!!!

well, spring is around the corner. it is time to pop off the car cover, crank over the cutlass, and start the next round of upgrades for this year. i am hoping to get her started and into my buddy's garage in the next couple of weeks. i have a whole pile of parts waiting to be installed:

1) front power disc brake conversion (slotted rotors, powdercoat calipers)

2) complete performance steering linkage kit

3) tubular upper & lower front control arms

4) 1.25" front sway bar

the front shocks are only about a year old with less than 1,000 miles on them, and i already have hotchkis front springs, so i will just re-use those. it was a nice short easy winter, but i am getting ready for spring & summer!!!

That is some nice upgrades. Will you still use the wheels you have? What part of the country are you? I am getting anxious to get mine going too.

i will be using these wheels for at least another 2-3 years. the wheels and tires are still like new, only about 2 years old with less than 1,000 miles on them. when these tires need to be replaced, i may look into a large diameter wheel, but i really like the classic crager style. u can't really see them clearly in my sig/avatar pics, check out these pics below. they are like a gun metal silver with the machined lip. they look almost black in my sig pic, but they aren't that dark in person.

I know, it's a really nice day today, warm, sunny, a bit windy. It doesn't matter how mild the winter is, it's days like this that remind me it's good to be alive. Time to go start up the car.
