Carb choice for a 66' 425

I'm new to this so please take it easy on me.. I have a 1965 442 with a 425 that is out of a 1966 tornado, the engine seems to be pretty strong. I'm looking to put on a new intake and carb.. any ideas? What I know about the engine is it is bored 30 over and has a mild cam the car currently has a edlebrock 650 and a cast intake..

It the cast intake an original Toro piece? If so, they are supposed to flow fairly well.
Anyway, for an aftermarket aluminum intake the Performer 455 is a good choice.

For the carb, I like the QuadraJet. It has good driveability for street use and enough air flow capability for a big block.

X2 Qjet properly set is a great choice for the 425. Pictured is my 800CFM Qjet from Deanscarbs.com.

I have a toro qjet core with both oem brackets that mount to that toro intake and with the toro throttle shaft - 1966 carb. 50.00 dirt cheap.
