Car Transport
Looks I will be buying the car of my dreams in a couple of weeks and I need to transport it from TX to IL and was wondering if anyone has experience with a company called Enclosed Vehicle Transport out of PA. Thanks

On the other hand, the Better Business Bureau isn't so positive. BBB accreditation is not the issue as businesses are not required to be BBB accredited to be rated by the agency. It's the rating that's the issue.

When I relocated from Ohio to New Mexico two years ago, I had this company do the move of our household goods. They have an A+ BBB rating.

I know they're mainly a household goods mover, but I figured that they must occasionally come across a customer who also needs a vehicle moved, so I asked them if they could help me in this regard, too. They said yes, and the move of my '67 Delta 88 convertible could not have gone better. In fact, the guy who delivered it told me that he enjoyed having it on his truck, and he took care to put the car on his trailer (it was an open trailer) in the spot least likely to get damage from road debris, which was on the bottom at the very rear. As I was getting ready to drive it away after he unloaded it, he asked me if I would put the top down as he wanted to see it that way, and I gladly did.

Just remember that when you are having a car shipped, do not count on the date that you are given. The person that you are speaking to on the phone is a dispatcher, not a driver. They will not (repeat NOT) ship your car until they have enough heading in your direction to fill their semi. It's just not cost effective enough for them to do so.
I got burned on this (as if you could not tell). Was given a specific date, and my cutlass showed up three weeks later. When I thought about complaining, and did a little research I found that this is the same with almost every auto shipping company.

I bought a 55' Olds from rural Kansas in 2012 and I reside in Illinois. I used Montway Transport. Very pleased, decent price, car delivered on date specified, several hours early. The transporter was out of Indiana, very professional, FYI, hope this helps in your decision
