I saw this last night and came back today to get some shots of it. It is at a local repair shop for some reason, couldn't find out why or who owns it. Obviously repainted in the past. The rain makes it look shiny at least.
This is a good friend of mine's car. It was his Mom's car. 80k original miles. He has had it for over twenty years. It is going to get a root beer metallic paint job some day. Super clean car. It's a 1978 by the way. 403 car.
I followed this into the drive through at a local dry cleaner shop. I was in the adjacent lane so could not get a good picture. Anyone recognize what it is?

I met a guy recently (Ken) at the parts store who offered to help me do some work on my car. He rents space in a shop nearby with access to a lift. Pictures of his car and a few others I have permission to share that are stored in this shop follow. There are many more I haven’t gotten permission to share but hope to soon. I’ll list what they are without pics and then try to follow up. If they weren’t privately owned and being quietly stored here, I would share other pics in a heartbeat.
While all these photos were taken at the shop, many are driven pretty regularly or are in the process of being restored.
Ken’s 69 Z28, 383 Stroker, 500 HP, 5 spd
1960 Buick Invicta, 23,000 orig miles, all original paint
1955 Buick Super Riviera with A/C
1970 Buick GS 455 Skylark Convertible
The two Packards and a Rolls following are used in a wedding business and photographed often so I’m sure there’s no harm sharing these.
Other cars not pictured that are in this shop:66 Ford Galaxy 500 2 door 7 Liter - Very nice
64/65 Buick Skylark Convertible - nice
Early 50s Olds 88 - very nice
Mid 50s Olds 98 Black/Red (just like the Buick Super Riviera above) - very nice
79 Trans Am, Black very nice
A couple of nice mid sixties mustangs
Early 50s Cadillac Sedan, Black, being restored nut and bolt
Early 50s Cadillac convertible, Lt Blue, white interior - very nice driver
69 Cutlass conv, dark blue, white top, white interior, auto - good driver, some mild performance mods
Early/Mid 70s El Camino - nice
55 or 56 Thunderbird, black, nice, almost completed restoration
A factory built, unique factory paint, one of a kind 62 Lincoln continental convertible (I was asked not to share details as the owner was not around to give the ok). Some historical significance.
62 Corvette, Fuel Injected
A late 60s/early 70s full size Ford 2 door convertible (Galaxy maybe?) being built with a Ford Coyote motor in it.

Jody Foster's Movie - Little Girl That Lives Down the Lane 1976
a perfect example of why air bags are needed in the rear springs with 4 or 5 passengers - look how low the rear is down over that rear tire. Bottoming out for sure!! Put about 10 lbs in each air bag and problem solved.
Not to ruffle feathers but car dealer pictures are not exactly what this thread is about.
Here is a non Olds car that resides across the street from my friend with the Olds. I love fifties Mopars. This car is super clean. It has been there for well over twenty years.

Hey, no1oldsfan. I’ll gather this was for me. My reply here is also not meant to ruffle feathers and certainly isn’t directed at you. We exchanged some messages early on after I joined and I enjoyed it a lot.
I think maybe I am the one who has ruffled feathers given there have been no comments about the cars. I did state in my post that these cars are all privately owned. The various owners rent space in this large warehouse to be able to store and work on their cars as needed.
I also read through the post first to try to make sure it seemed at least reasonable to post them here. Given that many posts were of cars parked in garages or driveways I thought that could spill over to these cars.
I knew I’d never be in the same place as all of these incredible cars when they were “out and about” so I decided to post them like I found them. My apologies if they don’t belong here.

72442TwiceOwned, I live in Helena, just south of Birmingham. I know most of those cars and their owners. They can usually be seen at the first Saturday of the month Dixie Vintage car meet among others.
As you stated, they are all privately owned by very nice gentlemen.
To 1arunem: Awesome! Thanks for the info. I will be out of town next week and not sure I’ll be back in time for that show. Hate to miss it and the opportunity to see these cars out of the garage. I assume it will probably end after the November show until the spring. I would love to see what you might have as well.

They actually do it every first Saturday in the Hoover Tactical parking lot throughout the year. Of course as temps drop the crowd lessens.
Beautiful '61. Don't know them well enough to tell -- Cat or Bonneville?
This one is a Catalina. They are very, very cool cars. The Bonneville is even more amazing. The Pontiac line up for '61 went from entry to top of line- Tempest/Lemans, Catalina, Ventura, Star Chief and then Bonneville. Interestingly though, the convertible was only available in the Catalina line and Bonneville.
