car cover

looking for a decent car cover that fits a 67 cutlass. i can't use a tarp in my neighborhood to cover my parts car, but if it's under an actual car cover, the city won't say anything. fit and water repelling qualities is what i'm looking for. i will have my convertible under this cover at some point during this build.

thanks

duane

Had this on a 1967 Cutlass Holiday Coupe. Lasted 5 years straight use, parked outdoors. NYC weather.

Highly recommend it. Perfect fit, I believe 67 Cutlass Coupes are 17 feet long. Comes with center bottom grommets for tying down underneath. I added front and rear bottom grommets. Because wind occasionally caught the cover just right. Pulling front and rear up and off.

After 5 years it started to fall apart. Exactly where you would expect it to. Around sharp edges and side mirrors. ( added passenger side mirror to my 67)

Soft to the touch material, water repellent not waterproof. Waterproof as you know is bad for our paint. My car had a laquer paint job. Looked great 2 covers and 10 years later ...

Cost considerably more in store, back in mid 1990s

Worth every penny.

Check out Covercraft Industries Inc in Oklahoma. 405-238-9651. I have had mine since 2016. They have quite a selection.

I've been using them for years. The 5 ply fleece lining is great. Keeps everything off and doesn't scratch the paint.

But the best is the lifetime warranty. Had one develop a tear a few years ago. I called them and they asked that I e-mail them some pictures. I did, and they FedEx'ed out a new one to me the next day. No charge.

My vote is California Car Cover. I've bought over a dozen from them through the years and only one was a bad fit, a Stormweave. I gave that one a bad review. They must have had other complaints as they no longer stock it. I think the best one is the Noah, that one lasts in the New England cold climate.
