Canadian early 70's rocker cover decal

Hi, just bought a pair of decent 1971/72 350 rocker covers. looking for that Canadian only (at least I think it is) rectangle decal. I think its for emissions or maybe oil. I can't seem to find any decal vendors online anymore.

anyway I have a really beat up pair of the same covers that still have that decal intact and I can post a pic of it later if no one north of the border knows what I'm talking about. or maybe some Canadian wannabe's (you know who you are) might know what I'm going on about.

cheers

Canuck Oil Stickers

Yes, the sticker was on the left valve cover of Canadian imported cars.
I have some extras.

You & Ted(Sammy) can PM me your address & I will send you one - no charge!

Derek

Can you scan the valve cover sticker as a jpeg and a PDFs and send me the files? It would be nice to have those and should be easy enough to turn it into a sticker from either.

Thanks

Dave

Were these used on only particular years and were they different for each year? My brother has a '71 Cutlass "S" that was originally sold in Canada, but the previous owner had replaced the factory valve covers with aftermarket chrome versions.

wcourt3010 - is your Cutlass black? Hard to tell from the avatar photo.

Yes, black. it looks better in the shade.

My brother's Cutlass is also black. Do not see many this color, at least in this area. Does your Cutlass have the optional hood stripe?

It is a factory non-A/C car with a Pearl bucket seat/console interior. According to their nephew, the original owners supposedly wanted a W-30 and blamed each other for not getting one.

But at least they ordered a nicely optioned Cutlass "S" with the FE-2 suspension, 2.73 posi, disc brakes, 350 4-bbl/dual exhaust, engine block heater, courtesy lights, and sport mirrors.

I bought that decal from Inline Tube. I was very surprised that they would bother to offer it, as it was only for cars destined for Canada.

My car was ordered new in northern Wisconsin. Never intended for Canada. Original owner said they were there when he popped the hood and he would have had no reason to install them.IMG_44941.jpg
