Thanks everyone for all the great info! I shared it with the gramps and he got the biggest smile on his face. When he ordered it he didn’t think much about it he says his buddy was the salesman at the time and he probably talked him into ordering it a certain way. He may have more info on it like paper work from the factory. I’ll post it if we find it. But The plan is to restore it as original as we can. And hopefully bring it to a show for everyone to enjoy.
We have been going at it slow to make sure we do it right. Just got all new fluids in it, cleaned the carb . cleaned and adjusted the points so hopefully one of these days we can get it to fire for the first time since 75!
Definitely hand prime the engine before turning it over with the starter. Spin the oil pump while rotating the engine by hand. Dump some marvel or trans fluid into the plug holes.

I hope he makes an effort to dig that stuff out. It's gold -- the rarer the car, the more potential value can be added by paperwork.
Saw this on Craigslist if you want some cool nice to have docs if you don't already have them. Not mine and seems reasonably priced.
And more valuable still would be items particular to OP's car, like P-O-P, original dealer invoice, finance paperwork, service history -- the kinds of things that corroborate the story behind the car. Amazon and E-Bay are likely full of old owners' manuals, although they are definitely good to have.
update! Got her to fire up! She didn’t even need starting fluid! The gramps said she ran like the day he picked her up. We still have a lot of work to do over the winter but the goal is to get it on the road next spring early summer! We have sourced most of the parts we need for the cosmetic damage from the deer also. And The paint surprisingly cleaned up very well this is just a wash. We haven’t done any paint correction yet.
Go around the car with Krown, LPS3, Fluid Film or what ever your choice is and lube up all the body seams.
Get into the doors, rockers, floor supports, rear wheel wells, front fenders, firewall, cowl, trunk drop offs, trunk lid & hood seams etc.You get the message.
Proactively protect the metal, eradicate the tin worms!
