A/C compressor retrofit

A/C compressor retrofit

I installed an S6/Pro6Ten aluminum compressor yesterday, fits perfect. I still have install a new dryer I picked up, BTW the compressor came from Banny (CO Member)

And you know, I meant to ask you for a pic or two once you painted and installed it. now you just need the sticker and the "OK OLDS" stamp. None the less, it looks great in there

Is this setup for 134A or R12? Looks like it bolts right up the the factory brackets. What company sells this kit?

That's kinda the whole point.

There are several vendors who sell A/C compressors that bolt up to the old A6 brackets but are built using modern internals. They weigh about 1/2 to 1/3 the weight of the A6.
