Burnout fun

I thought, in the interest of helping us get through the winter, we might link short vids of our cars doing their thing.

I'll start.

'71 Cutlass Supreme, mostly stock; cutlassEFI ground cam, Edel intake, shorty headers, 2.5" dual exhaust. No power-braking, just plain ol' mashing the gas

Thanks Eric
If I wasn't such a wuss I'd stay on the gas a little longer. I just don't want to wear out those BFGs (well, that ONE BFG, lol).

My daughter and I bult a 10" reflector telescope a few years ago. We joined the local astro club and had a chance to look through one of the member's 20" scope. After that, ours just wasn't good enough. I'm not watching YOUR video anymore

That is one badass ride though.

Just to be clear Billy boy, that's pea gravel mashed into tar, no loose gravel, just a very rough surface. I wouldn't peel out in gravel. Yikes! What would that do to the paint? Lol.

Lol, yeah. Our road is covered with rubber; about 80% mine. I love seeing it on my way home from work.

I'm still diggin' that silver color, sammy. I kind of wish my paint wasn't original; can't see covering up original paint. But I may tear the suitcase off the top. Paintscratch.com offers my original color if I want to make it a hard top.

Hey Mac, I asked my wife if she could give my 76 a good push on a oil patch so I could post a sreamin' burn out. But nope she declined. I will dig up your awesome thread next spring and will have something to show. Put-er-ther. I should have been born in the U.S.A. I would certainly like to hook up with you crazy guys for a drink. These posts make my evenings enjoyable !!!
Cheers

Hully jayzus lookit that big girl get up and boogie!

Makes me wish I had some of the Toronado doing its thing. It used to regularly make jaws drop with FWD burnouts. People just didn't expect that... especially Honduh punks.

Told one of them once to shut up and let me show you how a FWD burnout is properly done... the kid never brought that Civic around us anymore after that. No skik-kik-kik tire chirping here- just vaporized BFGs!

I guess I'll tag along, haha. I've never really toasted the tires on the Hurst, but this was my 76 442 I had a couple years ago

Meh, if I were young again I wouldn't have the money or knowledge to have this much fun

Nice! And a nice looking automobile. But you have a hurst and you haven't roasted the tires? Not even once? You have more self control than I, lol.

They repaved my street with beautiful virgin asphalt in the fall. I had the car out and on my way home put two long stripes down that sucker. I see them whenever i'm leaving or coming home. Always makes me smile! Thanks for the props Trips. Doggone it I miss that dog.

He didn't mind my driving. In fact I think he was driving one day! This was back when the car had a small block. Nice couple of rips on this one.

thanks for starting this one mac, nothing like the smell of fresh rubber being vaporized and the roar of the q-jet! I think that's a language we can all understand!

I'd be more impressed if Tobin was paying better attention to the road. Probably keeping his eyes out for some nice tail

z coolest dog and rolling tire spinning ever! yeah rocketraider, I wish I could have been there when the rice boys finally saw what torque was.. any burnout is fun to watch but a huge v8 front driver doing it adds a little more cool to the mix
