Buick Emblem??
#2
Yup. Goes on LeSabres and is weird in that it does not designate the engine but the transmission. Buick considered LeSabre with Turbo 400 enough of a separate model to give it its own designation. There were a few trim upgrades too over and above a LeSabre with a Super Turbine 300 trans.
Similar to what they did with their Wildcat 445 and 465 engines. The engines were actually 401s and 425s. The engine designation referred to its torque output.
Yup. A HydraMatic was good enough for Cadillac, Lincoln and even Rolls Royce, but it wasn't good enough for Buick.
Buick was Buick, and Buick did things a little differently.
