Bucket seat Adjustment

71 442 bucket seats. They are positioned back at a little recline angle...would like them to be more upright? anyone ever find a nice fix for this?

Tilt the seatbacks forward and check the condition of the two oval plastic bumpers. They can crumble with age, causing the seatbacks to recline further. Also, it used to be popular to remove them or cut them down to get more seatback angle. Reproductions are available from all the GM repro houses.

Um, "seat bumpers". Specifically, type a-body seat bumpers into Google

If your seat is one of the ones with the safety locks (1967 and later), don’t put more than one bumper in (i.e. don’t stack ‘em) or the seat may not lock for your safety.
