bucket seat

Question bucket seat

will any bucket seat from an a-body gm car fit in my 71 cutlass....im trying to go from bench 2 bucket seats. would i be able to find tracks that would hold the seats in place or would i have to rigg something up??

Yes ,any A body that year will work. The seat covers are different. You can buy the brackets you need to do the change over from any aftermarket vendor.

thanks.....so basiclly a 71 chevelle or 71 GTO will fit with no major problems??

That is correct, and Skylark/GS also. This would include the years 1969-72.

Check yearone,the parts place,original parts group or e-bay you will find alot of parts you need from these places.

Actually any seat from 1966 to 1972 will work, they all share the same lower frame structure, I ran 66 seats in my old 72 Cutlass when I converted from bench to bucket.
As i recall the outer bolt holes for the bench and the buckets are the same, I just centered the seats and bolted the inner legs to the floors (add a large washer to the underside so the bolt dosent pull out in an accident.
