I found this emblem sitting in the metal structure that supports the dash of my 71 cutlass. Does this have any place in my car? This car was frankensteined with so many random parts I wouldn't be surprised if this came off a Kawasaki dirt bike...

 

I don't know what it's from but I can say that it's not from a 1971 Cutlass.

 

It might have come from a deli from a pound of Bro-ham.

Well, it looks like this actually was on Oldsmobiles but definitely not on a 71 cutlass. Looks like Brougham was a higher end model on a few lines of cars. The earliest I found was a 1978 cutlass brougham. From internet pics, this emblem looks like something off an 80's omega but I'm just guessing.

 

That's the emblem that went after(before?) the Cutlass Supreme script on the vinyl top on 80s Cutlass Supremes. On the sail panel.
