Broadcast Sheet from 1973 98 LS
First one is the scan which somehow was in my phone
2nd one is the pic using my phone, from just now
Nothing much to see here, just a common grampa's car
1973 98 Luxury Sedan I believe, 4dr parts car
455 with AC I believe.
I have not had a chance to pick over what can be seen in the text.
It has been in the car since new, but I pulled it out 2 weeks ago to save, then the dog got injured and I forgot to take it so it spent a week in the weather because my brother failed to go rescue it as requested.
Good example of the proper fonts, shape, locations, rot like that.
I am 100% sure that this document is factory and came in / with that car. This is the one the coons were living in the trunk of. Anyone need any parts speak now because frankly they are all looking a lot like $10k worth of scrap metal. There's a few tidbits here and there but no one ever comes looking for 73 98 4dr trims or glass.

So far the CD PN Manual page 1095 asserts that the 1973 CV39 is a 4dr 98 Luxury sedan.
Which I surmised by looking at the car and reading the emblems.
It says Lansing production started at VIN #100001
Appears to be a typo in the factory lit there
"Sales and VIN code" column shows "V" for the "CV" model of body type "57" "hardtop coupes (88's)"
So, the MODEL NAME column says Ninety Eight Luxury but the BODY TYPE column clearly says "(88's)"
almost EVERY SINGLE MODEL uses the last letter of the model for this "Sales and VIN code" -
AF => F
AG => G
BL => L
etc.
but...
for a
NAME = NINETY EIGHT REGENCY
SERIES = CV
BODY TYPE = CONVERTIBLE [67] -or- [69] TOWN SEDAN (4 DOOR PILLAR)
the "Sales and VIN code" column shows as "X" for these Series CV vehicles.
I thought this was a post-free car but I guess I need to revisit it, maybe photo the body tag.
Y60 seems to be a glovebox light and mirror option- rear face of front seat perhaps
C49 may be rear window electric defogger
A01 tinted body glass, usually found on AC cars, sure
top left appears to assert build # ? 584, build date 10/11, presumably 1972 then.
body #268229
trim combination 376
exterior paint 46 lower [some sort of green], T upper, PP = 2 [??]
A52, A31, AK1, A42, C61, AU3, U58 = unknown
C60 is usually CAC = Car Air Conditioning, or "AC" to regular folks
U__ options are generally gage or instrument panel lighting, or radio/ speaker options.
A52 may be the type of bench seat
AK1 may be seat belt specifics
but I have a very limited list of factory RPO codes, and mostly for 68-9 models.
