A body windshields

I think convertibles are also different than Hardtops. I believe all 2 door, 4 door Hardtops were the same though. Convertible being a different unit. Not sure about wagon.

What about El Camino? Same as wagon, or same as sport coupe?
How about the "A-Specials", Monte Carlo and Grand Prix
At any rate, the usual differences will be important depending on vehicle options--tinting and windshield antenna to name two.

I need to replace my windshield on my 1968 442. I’m really conflicted on whether I should replace it with completely clear or tinted. Does anyone know if the 68 cars came with tinted or clear? Also it seems that new replacement tinted windows come with the blue shade strip along the top - was that available on the 68 A body cars? Please help. Thanks —Billy

As far as the dark tinted stripe across the top of the windshield that you see nowadays, I'm guessing that this was not available in 1968, so you wouldn't want it if you wanted your replacement to be 100% correct. But I'm guessing it's possible that the only new windshields you can find today will have that stripe, so you'd have to find an original windshield from a junkyard car.
