Best place for online parts?

Hi guys!

I'm taking advice before making orders!
I'm french, new to this forum, and very interested in a 1969 Cutlass Supreme Holiday Coupe with a V8 350.

The car needs some engine tune-up and have some questions:

-What is for you the best place to buy correct parts for the car? (Rockauto?)
-Do you advice me to take AC DELCO parts? (This is what I always use for my 1986 Fiero V6).

For the moment, I'm thinking about:
-Oil, fuel, air filter
-Wire set
-Spark plugs
-Distributor rotor and cap
-Some gaskets (valve covers, auto trans...)
-Changing coolant, engine and trans oil...

Do you see other parts?

Thanks a lot for your advices and help!!
Chris

I am assuming that you are in France so shipping will not be cheap. I would check eBay first, use rockauto for part number reference.

Thanks!
Checked ebay for parts but the problem is that, as I'd have to buy from different sellers, shipping would be too high.
With Rockauto, I can make purchase the complete list of items at one place!

And what about make?
Would you recommand AC DELCO parts?

Thanks again!
Chris

You may find this thread helpful.

re: Rockauto. BE CAREFUL!! Many of their parts ship from different warehouses. That means you'll pay multiple shipping charges from up to 5 different warehouses. They don't stock everything at one place.

re: AC Delco? meh, it's hit and miss. Not all their parts are that great anymore. Lots of them are made in Mexico or offshore and then sold under the brand name.
