bent bumper
rear left side of bumper is twisted downward at about 30 degrees less about the angle on this character " > " think if i take a come along and strap it to the bumper and ratchet it up to a tree branch it'll straighten and hold? i can pull it up into place but it takes quite a bit of effort, i have welding abilities. only the bumper itself is bent, not the rail it attaches too nor the "tubes" on the mount that slide into the frame itself.
Use a jack with blocks of wood supporting it between the jack and bumper. Then have some one bounce on the rear bumper to get it to flex to shape. If you ratchet it up or jack it up you still have to take into account suspension travel. Which is why I would jack it up and have some one bounce to baend it back to shape if it needs it I know some bumpers are flimsier than others.
yea this one is a replacement from the previous owner. it's not the factory one ....it's a bad design with no holes in the bottom to let water drain.....ill be gettin a new one soon enough, im not too keen on 150 bux for a bumber.
45 minutes south, and thanks i'll check into that.

Dunno. It's not the one on rt17 it's the one on otto rd. In chabense or something like that. That's the good yard with all the old cars. And 10 minutes away is k.a.r.s. Another junkyard.
You can try. But I got the core support for my cutlass in really good shape for 75 bucks and he had to get the car out with the loader and torch the bolts off. Kinda hard to beat. Plus bartering with junkyards usually never works.
