Cutlassgal, thanks for noticing and the compliments. How did your silver vent work turn out?

LadyNRob, I never realized how bad the pedals looked until I seen it in the pics and almost got sick to my stomach ,all better now. Thanks for the compliment about my interior. Recieved quite a few compliments about my interior at my first car show yesterday.

To all, thanks for posting pics and I see quite a few award winning interiors pictured. You all should be proud of yourselves ,for the works in progress, you have something to be proud of also...much respect goes to a person who is trying to save another Oldsmobile.

Nope,I found this gold car in Grand Rapids,Mi.It was only in Mi for a few years and garaged while there. The car spent most of it's life in Washington state in the hands of a professional mechanic.

No, but I am on my work issued laptop. I take it home for the weekend just so I can visit this site. I worked from home on Friday anyway.

I still cannot access this site on any computer on my home network.
When I use my work computer, I log in through the company network and bypass my network and it works.

Who knows how and when I will get back to normal with my home network...

well as long as you do not have to go to work to get to CO then all is well - if that changes, something must be done

Jeffrey.... My cat got the Easter Bunny! Yes, it's nice to see these pics with nice green grass, instead of the ones I posted over the winter with 5 ft. of snow!

I don't know where my sister got the cup holder.... she dug it out of their shed year before last and gave it to me, cause I couldn't find one I liked for the Cutlass. It's not burgundy any more!!

Looks nice! Now where is the car??

We need an updated picture of the car with the correct color console installed...

Jeff, if you find a source for these consoles to fit on a rounded hump, let me know. All the ones I have seen sold now are made for flatter 'humps' and are topsy turvy on real humps.
Hers is old - notice the cassette slots. Of course that is good because it would fit our cars. Watch for them at flea markets everywhere...

Rob I found mine last year (the blue one) at walmart (I also have a small screw in the middle (see the white screw cover at the top of the blue bic lighter?) holding it down to the hump. Remember, I am in the boat biz for a long time, everything needs to be snugged down for those rolling turns

That sure is nice - it is one we do not see very often! Looks like new!

We need a night shot of the dash, now!

I agree! Don't apologize for having a Jetstar 88. They are COOL. I owned a '64 for about five years back in the early '90s. Nobody had ever heard of it, it seemed, and I enjoyed talking about it with anyone who would listen.

Night shot! She doesn't even have a clock! Maybe someone will give me a tach to replace the plug in the dash!

Thanks for the compliment. She does have a pretty interior- and it's ORIGINAL!

Of course, the driver side of the bench seat is broken down, but I'm working on it!

You're right. She is cool!

I know that when I drive through town, heads turn!

It doesn't say "442" or "Hurst" or "GTO" or "Judge!"

It says "Jetstar 88!"

All beautiful interiors. For me, the one thing that's a must-have in a car interior are c-pillar lamps.

I would never lose her!! She's at Don Sitts getting more beautiful!

You have to read the good morning thread once in a while, lol! I'm having all the presents I received for her put on, and a few other things done. He said they'd probably have her a while They are busy over there! So I'm getting other things done while she's gone.

Right. I can't even grow weeds...
I still cannot get to CO at home, so I am not on here as much as I used to.

Hope Sandy gets her car back before it's too hot to cruise.
Wait - I'm thinking of TX weather... It's supposed to hit 90 today.

Jeffrey.... It was 84 here today, but if you look at that weather report you posted, you'll see the rain and 50's coming back for the weekend. We have a thunder storm going on right now. The weeknight cruise ins started this week. I won't miss many of them! I don't go to them every night anyhow.

Jamesbo..... You are funny!!! And you're bein a shi* too!!!!

Rob... I talked to a few of our people in Houston today. They said the temps out there have been in the 90's! I told them to send some of that heat my way! I wish we'd get warm and stay warm.

76 Cutty.... Thanks for the compliment! We look forward to seeing your pics!!

I think the LR's had two sticks (his n hers they called them I think...) and were used in the 80's.
They confused valets almost every time.
